Dave's Underground Obscure Playlist (or something like that)

Music has always been a huge part of my life. When I was younger I went to concerts almost weekly. I listen to all kinds of music, but I tried to keep this pretty universal. By that I mean, I didn't put anything too heavy or experimental on it. So, I'm sure everyone can find something enjoyable in this list.

BRMC is the last REAL rock band, and I'm kind of obsessed with them, so I included 2 very different songs by them. The bassist and guitarist alternate lead vocals. So, I included one of each.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Cub – Fault Line

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club – Need Some Air

The next songs 3 songs are all examples of Psych-Rock, which I am heavily into. The Night Beats add garage rock to their psychedelic sounds

Holy Wave – Magic Landing

Heaters – Elephant Turner

Night Beats – Sunday Mourning

Soft Science and Flyying Colours are modern "Shoegaze" bands. If you don't know that genre, give them a listen.

Soft Science - Sooner

Flyying Colours – I Don’t Want to Let you Down

I just love the Dandy Warhols, and this song is a current favorite. Very upbeat and almost danceable.

The Dandy Warhols – Down Like Disco

Steven Wilson is a genius, and this is one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. The exact opposite of the Dandy Warhols song.

Steven Wilson – The Raven The Refused to Sing

Killing Joke is my all time favorite band, and this song is a timeless classic.

Killing Joke – Requiem
